




Come and enjoy a visit the Wildlife Park in York you didn’t know about! Just of the A64 we are Askham Bryan Wildlife & Conservation Park, home to over 100’s of different species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates!
During the week we’re teaching the next generation of Wildlife Conservationist and Animal Keepers, but when they’re not in we’re open for the public to come and see the great work they and our keeper team are doing.
Throughout the day we have keeper talks you can attend, alongside crafts and engagement, ran by our amazing student volunteers. Some of the animals at the Wildlife Park include, Axolotl’s, Green Iguana, Egyptian Fruit Bats, Asian Short Claw Otters, Scottish Wildcats, Meerkats, Ring-tailed Lemurs, Wallaby’s, Marmosets, Owls, Kookaburra and all the animals at our Heritage Conservation Farm! We open from 10am-4pm, with last entry at 3pm.
We’re open weekends and school holidays. From the 13th April – 30th August we’re open X7 DAYS A WEEK! (bookings during the week must be online) We have FREE parking onsite and our Hive Café is Open from 9:30am – 3pm. Don’t forget under 3’s get in for FREE! We look forward to seeing you visit soon!
